ABOUT

The 1969 Band is the coming together of Florida musicians that share a common love for the music of a generation. Music of the 60's & 70's that inspired them to become musicians and influenced their style of play.  Music that lives on in each member today.

The group presents material that many refer to as Classic Rock, but without much of the standard, over played, same-old songs that many rock bands seem to fall back on.  1969 presents more unique & intricate music that rings true with rock music devotees and connoisseurs of the era ... all while adding the band's own unique style and flavor.

1969 should not be considered a "Tribute Band", but rather a group of seasoned players that pay homage to the unbelievable rock music from that era.  It was after all, music that changed everything.

Music performed by 1969 include compositions by The Beatles, Led Zeppelin, The Who, Jethro Tull, Allman Brothers, Moody Blues, Deep Purple, Rolling Stones, Mountain, Steely Dan, Jimi Hendrix, The Doors, Savoy Brown, Emerson, Lake & Palmer, Argent, J. Geils Band, Joe Cocker, Animals, Little Feat, Crosby Stills & Nash and others.
